After your flight from Manila to the Bohol-Panglao International Airport, you will be picked up by your personal driver and make your journey (1-2 hours) to the eastern part of Bohol, the beautiful Anda. This is one of the secret highlights, off the beaten track with many opportunities for adventure.

On the second day of your Bohol tour, explore the beauty of the intact 15 km long coral reef. You will be brought to different snorkeling spots to swim with the friendly turtles of Anda. After the snorkeling tour, enjoy the enchanting and fine-sanded Public Beach in Anda Town. At low tide you can walk directly from J & R Residence to the public beach. Here you can experience not only a lot of fun, but also a cold beer or fruity cocktail at various bars. On the white beach of Anda you will find every holiday cliché. But do not be surprised that disturbing mass tourists are missing!

On the third day, visit the impressive rice terraces and the Can-umantad Falls in Candijay in the morning. The exact departure time for the half-day tour can be individually coordinated with us. Not only the waterfalls and the terraces in Candijay are very impressive, but also the breathtaking green hills and jungle landscape in this area. At Can-umantad, if you would like, of course, you can take a refreshing swim and also explore the small cave behind the largest waterfall in Anda. Do not forget to take your bathing suit!

After three days of alternating and adventurous days it is time to say good-bye to the beautiful Anda. After breakfast, your private van will take you to the pier in Loay in a one hour drive. From there, you will arrive to your next destination, the small island of Pamilacan. The boat trip in a bangka, an authentic Philippine boat with bamboo extensions, takes about an hour.
At Pamilacan Island, you will spend a total of three nights in a simple, typical-Philippine and thus very authentic nipa hut and get valuable insights into the simple but happy life of the families and fishermen living there.

Your first morning on Pamilacan requires an early start to the day as you will be taken around the island by boat in search of wild dolphins. With a little bit of luck you, might find them feeding and frolicking in their natural home and playground, the waters of Pamilacan island.
When you’re back on land, explore the village or get to know the locals, and then indulge in a beach-front body massage provided by one of the island’s’ trained masseuses.

Today, you will learn how to prepare authentic Filipino food which will usually be prepared in an outdoor kitchen. One of the most famous delicacies would be “kinilaw” which could be described as the Philippine version of the Japanese sashimi. Fresh fish right out of the Bohol Sea will not only be perfect for “kinilaw” but also for other variations like grilled sweet & sour fish which will be served with fresh vegetables and tropical fruits, of course.

After the “down to earth experience” on the fishing island of Pamilacan, you will be transferred back to the pier in Baclayon after breakfast. The journey takes about an hour. In Baclayon, a reliable driver will be waiting for you, who will take you to the exclusive South Palms Resort on Panglao Island in 30 – 45 minutes.
Panglao is an island belonging to Bohol, which is connected to the capital Tagbilaran via two bridges. The island has been known for several years, mainly with divers and party friends. A popular place on Panglao is the Alona Beach. This is only a few car or tricycle minutes away from the quiet and relaxing South Palms Resort and has a lot of good bars, restaurants, diving schools, souvenir shops and co.

On day 8, you will have the opportunity to get to know the fascinating underwater world of Panglao. If you want to dive, Alona Beach finds a virtually unbelievable number of recommended providers. Panglao is also very good for snorkel excursions.
A real tip especially the visit of the small island Balicasag. Here, divers and snorkelers alike can experience wonderful underwater adventure! The exclusive South Palms Resort also offers excursions to Balicasag.

The tour ends today with a transfer from your resort to either the airport in Panglao or the seaport in Tagbilaran. Hopefully your experience of the wonders of Bohol will encourage to come back and explore other parts of the Philippines.
